The Infamous Movies like Me Before You: 25 Streamable Recommendations

Movies like Me Before You

You’ve probably seen movies like Me Before You, but what movies are similar to this beloved romantic drama? This list of movies will give you an idea.

A Walk to Remember

This movie like Me Before You is the first one on this list. It has an inevitable love story, but I think it’s nice to start with a happy movie before diving into movies about people dying. The protagonist in this movie like Me Before You meets his significant other at church and she slowly starts to understand him as he helps her through some tough life circumstances.

The Fault in Our Stars

This movie like Me Before You is a sad one without the uplifting element of faith that Landon has in A Walk to Remember. The protagonist, Hazel Grace Lancaster (Shailene Woodley), falls for Augustus Waters and his inspirational spirit as he deals with cancer.

The movie ends on an ambiguous note: do they live happily ever after or does she die first? We never know, but you can stream it on Netflix Instant now!

P.S. I Love You

This movie like Me Before You is a tearjerker, but not because of cancer. The main character’s husband dies and she deals with it by writing letters to herself about what happened after he died.

While movies like Me Before You deal with death, this one deals more with the grieving process as opposed to movies that revolve around dying people looking for love again (ahem Fault in Our Stars). As you can imagine, there are many tears shed during this film which you can stream on Netflix Instant now!

In The Vow, the beautiful Rachel plays Paige who loses her memory due to an accident caused by her husband Leo (Channing). With no memories of their life together, a woman tries to make a new start with the help of family and friends. What follows? Drama! This story has comedy moments as well as teary scenes but it’s definitely worth watching if you enjoyed movies like Me Before You.
