The navy seal movies list is a personal favorite of mine. It has been one of my favorite things to watch for the past few years, and I have compiled a list of 10 navy seal movies that I think are some of the best. The first movie on this list was released in 2013, which should give you an idea as to how long it takes for me to compile this type of list! This blog post will be updated with new information as time goes by so that you can stay up-to-date with what’s going on in the world of navy seals. There are many different topics included here, and I hope that it helps!
Navy Seal Movies List:
Bravo Two Zero (Movie)
The movie starts off with a group of navy seals from Bravo company being captured by Iraqi forces and tortured. The movie then flashes back to their training, which happened in Scotland. Their mission is revealed as they are sent into Iraq under the cover story that they were hikers who got lost while hiking on an oil pipeline.
The Navy seal team gets split up when one of them falls off his camel after it’s startled by gunshots. When this happens the other soldiers get separated so each soldier has to figure out what to do next himself without any help or backup, including wounded comrades left behind…
Behind Enemy Lines (Film)
This film stars Owen Wilson and Gene Hackman, it follows a group of Navy seals after they get shot down over Bosnia while on a peacekeeping mission. Behind Enemy Lines Has a lot of fighting and is very action-packed. IF you did not saw it, you better hurry up, you don’t know what are you missing.
Act Of Valor
Act of Valor is an action movie from 2012 which centers around SEAL Team Six – more specifically on two members who have been tasked with finding an American journalist kidnapped by terrorists in Pakistan while at wartime as they try to keep themselves alive long enough for rescue efforts by other Navy SEALS teams or US government forces to arrive before it’s too late. It has a big international cast.
Zero Dark Thirty (movie)
This movie, directed by Katherine Bigelow and written by Mark Boal, tells the story of real-life events that occurred in early 2001. It has been nominated for five Academy Awards including best picture and best original screenplay. Jessica Chastain who plays Maya spends two hours a day training with Navy SEALs to prepare for her role as an undercover CIA officer tracking down Osama bin Laden through his courier network. – Lone Survivor (Movie) This film is based on true events concerning Marcus Luttrell’s experience of June 28th, 2005 during Operation Red Wings. The operation was part of broader US military efforts against Taliban forces after the September 11 attacks on the United States.
Navy Seals: Men of Courage –
The Movie with Linda Hamilton and Michael Biehn, Tim Thomerson and John Wesley Shipp as the lead actors. It also stars Megan Dodds, Eric Etebari, Kevin J. O’Connor, Arlen Dean Snyder, and Joanna Pacula in supporting roles.
This is one naval warfare film that has action-packed scenes throughout its entire length…which makes this movie a must-see for anyone who likes navy seal movies! This movie focuses on how hard it can be to work undercover missions during wartime situations which could potentially make things tricky.
Under Siege (Film)
Under Siege is one of the most iconic navy seal movies and is a must-watch. It was released in 1993 but has been remastered recently for release on Blu-ray.
The movie stars Kurt Russell as Casey Ryback, who is working aboard a supertanker with his partner Frank Colton (played by Tommy Lee Jones). The terrorists hijack the ship, taking its crew hostage while they demand ransom from various nations, or else they’ll blow it up!
Ryback manages to escape before he’s captured and heads back onboard to save everyone trapped inside when no other help comes near enough in time – all because he knows that not negotiation gives him any chance at saving them all…
This movie is based on true events about what happened during Operation Red Wings. A four-man team was tasked with capturing or killing Taliban leader Ahmad Shahd. When two men were killed by enemy fire while descending from mountain tops into valleys, the others tried to pick up weapons left behind including an RPG which failed because it wasn’t fully loaded yet! Finally, one Navy SEAL made his way down for help and another managed to kill six members of the Taliban before being shot himself as he ran out of ammunition.
Black Hawk Down
Great movie about Navy Seals. Released in 2001, the movie tells a tale of Delta Force operators being dropped into Somalia to capture two top lieutenants. They are shot down and hunted by Somalian forces over four days while their compatriots try to rescue them from an urban battle zone.
In 2013, “Black Hawk Down” was ranked as one of the best films on military action movies for its portrayal of realistic battlefield scenarios and soldier’s reactions during combat situations. It is told through first-hand accounts with actual footage showing both perspectives: US soldiers’ account as well Somali militiamen who see themselves fighting against invaders from afar or up close alongside civilians caught in the crossfire. The film does not have any graphic violence but instead conveys much about war through dialogue.
The Hurt Locker (Film)
The Hurt Locker is a 2008 American war film directed by Kathryn Bigelow and written by Mark Boal. It tells the story of an Iraq War Explosive Ordnance Disposal team who are sent out to deal with bombs in Baghdad during a period when U.S. forces were withdrawing from the city (April 2003 – July 2007). The title refers to the psychological state caused by pressure or danger that keeps soldiers alert, tense, and keenly focused on their task at hand — one might be said to “lock-up” emotionally while under such stress.”
Desperate Hours (Film)
Desperate Hours is a film that was released in 1990. The movie is about an ex-navy seal who gets mixed up with the mafia. It’s good enough to get into my list, but not my top ten.
